Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mailward website and tools at pst.aivismonitor.com ("Mailward", the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Mailward is operated by wang lei, an individual developer. You can contact the operator at vertrigr@gmail.com.
The Service
Mailward provides browser-based tools to open, read, search, and convert Outlook and other email archive files (PST, OST, OLM, MBOX, EML, MSG). Files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Free and paid features
Opening, browsing and searching are free, and so is exporting up to three messages a day with their attachments. For MBOX files, the whole mailbox is listed and searchable; reading messages past the first 500 MB requires Pro. Batch conversion, whole-archive export, attachment extraction to ZIP, bulk export of search results, and opening mail archives from inside a ZIP container require a Mailward Pro license.
License & payment
Mailward Pro is a one-time purchase of $19 (USD) that grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to the paid features. Payment is processed by Creem for purchases made through the existing Creem checkout. If you choose the Waffo Pancake checkout, Waffo Pancake acts as the merchant of record for that transaction. The provider is identified at checkout and on your receipt; the applicable provider's terms, including Waffo's terms for a Waffo checkout, also apply. After purchase you receive a license key to activate the paid features. This one-time purchase does not create a subscription or an automatic renewal.
If you begin a checkout on Creem's payment page, enter your email address there, and leave without completing the purchase, Creem may send you a small number of reminder emails about that checkout. Those reminders come from Creem, use only the email you entered on its page, and include an unsubscribe link. We may also publish discount codes — for example regional purchasing-power pricing — which apply only when entered at checkout and can be changed or withdrawn at any time.
Refunds
If Mailward Pro does not work as described, contact us at vertrigr@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase and we will work with you and the provider that processed your payment to arrange a refund. A Creem transaction is refunded through Creem; a transaction made through the Waffo Pancake checkout is refunded through Waffo Pancake. Applicable statutory consumer rights are not limited by this policy.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Mailward only with archives you own or are authorised to access, and not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or circumvent the Service or its licensing.
Suspension and termination for breach
If you materially breach these Terms, we may restrict or suspend your access to the Service or terminate your permission to use it, including your Pro license. Grounds include accessing archives without authorisation, using the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights, and attempting to disrupt the Service or circumvent its security or licensing. Where reasonably practicable, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to remedy the breach before permanent termination. Immediate action may be taken where required by law or necessary to address fraud, abuse or a security risk.
Your locally stored email archives remain under your control. These measures do not give us access to your archives or transfer ownership of them. If you believe a restriction is mistaken, contact vertrigr@gmail.com for review. Suspension or termination does not remove any refund right or other remedy you have under applicable law.
Intellectual property
The Service, its software, and its branding are owned by Mailward. These Terms do not transfer any ownership; they grant only the limited license described above. Your email archives and their contents remain entirely yours.
No repair guarantee; "as is"
Mailward reads healthy archive files but cannot repair a corrupted or damaged file — if a file cannot be opened by tools such as Windows' scanpst, Mailward may not be able to open it either. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mailward shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for a Mailward Pro license.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue features, and may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
