Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mailward website and tools at pst.aivismonitor.com ("Mailward", the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Mailward provides browser-based tools to open, read, search, and convert Outlook and other email archive files (PST, OST, OLM, MBOX, EML, MSG). Files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Free and paid features

Opening, reading, searching, and exporting a single message are free. Batch conversion, whole-archive export, attachment extraction to ZIP, and bulk export of search results require a Mailward Pro license.

License & payment

Mailward Pro is a one-time purchase of $19 (USD) that grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to the paid features. Payment is processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record for the transaction; your purchase is therefore also subject to Creem's terms. After purchase you receive a license key to activate the paid features.

If you begin a checkout on Creem's payment page, enter your email address there, and leave without completing the purchase, Creem may send you a small number of reminder emails about that checkout. Those reminders come from Creem, use only the email you entered on its page, and include an unsubscribe link. We may also publish discount codes — for example regional purchasing-power pricing — which apply only when entered at checkout and can be changed or withdrawn at any time.

Refunds

If Mailward Pro does not work as described, contact us at vertrigr@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase and we will work with you and, where applicable, with Creem to arrange a refund. Refunds are processed through Creem.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Mailward only with archives you own or are authorised to access, and not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or circumvent the Service or its licensing.

Intellectual property

The Service, its software, and its branding are owned by Mailward. These Terms do not transfer any ownership; they grant only the limited license described above. Your email archives and their contents remain entirely yours.

No repair guarantee; "as is"

Mailward reads healthy archive files but cannot repair a corrupted or damaged file — if a file cannot be opened by tools such as Windows' scanpst, Mailward may not be able to open it either. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mailward shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for a Mailward Pro license.

Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify or discontinue features, and may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
